Bypass Diode Failures
When a bypass diode fails, an entire sub-string (usually 1/3 of the panel) goes offline. In a thermal image, this appears as a distinct, rectangular thermal anomaly spanning the length of the module.
String Outages

PID & Soiling
Potential Induced Degradation (PID) manifests as a checkerboard thermal pattern across the array. We also detect heavy dust, bird droppings, and vegetation shading that degrade overall system performance over time.
